Well it all depends on the duck. Some ducks are very friendly and some are not. You might want to get male call ducks because female call ducks are one of the most noisiest ducks. some hatcheries "sex" the ducks so you have more of a chance they will be the gender you want. Yes, you can keep them as house pets with diapers, But make sure you let them outside everyday so they can enjoy themselves. You can get diapers for ducks at thegoosemother.com I hope you enjoy your new ducklings! I also hope this answer helps.

Call ducks can be as friendly and tame if raised from ducklings as teh pekins and cayugas. I've seen many friendly call ducks. They are easily tamed.

Call ducks have a high-pitched call which may or may not bother other people in the neighborhood. Female call ducks are louder than males. By comparison, pekin ducks are much louder, especially the females.

Yes, I have heard of people diapering there ducks, but not with much success. The ducks are usually uncomfortable in the diapers and will try to pull them off. If your ducks can remain with their diapers on, you are very fortunate.
