    all you need for this recipe is;

    a) 2 plates
    b)money for ingrediants
    c)phone

now phone the local chinese takeaway and order what you and she both like – question them to home deliver and serve – simplest meal ever! (don’t forget to pay)

remember it is not repackaging but using you iniative.

failing that, fish (cod or haddock filleted), now blend together some fresh brown bread (no seeds though quite a bit) a small olive oil (enough to make it stab), fresh parsley (about a handfull), about 30 grams of parmesan cheese and then place on top of the fish on a baking tray place on top some sun dried tomatoes and bake for 15 mins on fan 190 and serve with some veg maybe oven roasted oiled potatoes. bon apeitte.

What I would do is make a simple but fantastic pasta dish with either a side salad or garlic bread…

Sautee some freshly chopped mushrooms, garlic and broccoli, red peppers, shrimp, italian sausage… or what have you…
Boil some penne pasta * or whatever you prefer* according to directions.
Drain, add veggies, shrimp etc. Add a pre-made red sauce like Ragu. Stir and serve.
A really excellent and simple garlic bread is…
Get a french loaf, cut it in half, chop up some fresh garlic, fresh or dried parsely and mix with some butter, spread on the loaf and broil in the oven on a cookie sheet. Cut up and serve with the pasta.
Don’t forget the bottle of wine! ;)

My favorite quick and simple meal is beef stroganoff!

    1 lb ground beef
    1 bag wide egg noodles
2 can (8 oz) Cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 oz) of sour cream

Cook ground beef, drain. Boil pasta, drain.
Combine all ingredients in a huge pan! Let simmer about 5 summary or until all the ingredients are hot! THEN ITS DONE! Add salt and pepper to taste!

I always serve with a salad and buttered bread.

This makes 4-6 servings! and leftovers are so goooood the next day! I hope she enjoys it! =)

If you can follow directions then you can cook.

2 pieces of fresh fish drizzle on both sides with olive oil and sprinkle with some lemon pepper seasoning or have the seafood counter place on a flavoring. Cook at 400F for about 20 summary.

Bagged salad with croutons, shredded cheese, diced tom. and cucumber. Don’t forget the salad dressing.

Some kind of roll or bread served warm.

i always give this recipe for those that want simple, but impressive. don’t be discouraged by the part of the recipe. it’s super simple. frequently just cutting veggies. then you just pop the potatoes in the oven, cut up the tomatoes, fry up the chicken! it really is super impressive and you won’t believe how simple………..

Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breasts with Tomato and Basil and Potatoes with Peppers

1 1/2 to 2 pounds fingerling potatoes or red skin baby potatoes
1 small red bell pepper, seeded and cut into thin strips
1 mild green pepper, seeded and delicately sliced
4 large cloves garlic, cracked away from skin
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
    Coarse salt and pepper
2 cups shredded Parmesan, available in tubs near deli — make sure to get shredded cheese, not grated
4 (6 to 8-ounce) boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 plum Roma tomatoes or small, vine ripe tomatoes, seeded and chopped
15 to 20 leaves fresh basil, pile leaves, roll then delicately slice — chiffonade

Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.
Cut fingerling potatoes into halves or quarters, depending on thickness of fingerlings — thin, small fingerlings may also be left hole, larger potatoes should be quartered to speed cooking process. If you are using small red potatoes, halve or quarter them in the same way.

Cover a large cookie sheet with foil. Place potatoes on cookie sheet. Combine with peppers, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. Coat the potatoes and peppers with extra-virgin olive oil just enough to coat vegetables in a thin layer, 2 to 3 tablespoons. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Place potatoes in the oven and roast 20 to 22 summary, until potatoes are just tender and peppers and onions are crisp at edges. Toss mixture with tongs, turning the potatoes after 15 summary. When the potatoes are cooked, transfer them to a serving dish and peel the foil off the cookie sheet and discard for super-quick clean up!

While potatoes cook, prepare chicken. Roll out a 2-foot cut of waxed paper or foil near the stove top. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat — your pan must be very hot when the chicken is added. Pile the shredded cheese on the work surface made with the waxed paper or foil. Season your chicken breasts with black pepper but no salt; the cheese will add enough salt to the taste of the dish. Press the breasts firmly into the cheese. Coat both sides of breasts with as much cheese as possible. Add 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil to the skillet, 1 turn of the pan. Set breasts into the skillet and cook 7 summary on each side, until cheese forms an even, golden casing nearly the tender chicken breasts.

While chicken cooks, combine chopped tomatoes with basil in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper, to your taste.

Drain off any surplus oil from chicken as you remove it from the skillet. Top chicken with huge spoonfuls of raw sauce and serve with potatoes, peppers.

Italian Chicken is simple, but simply incredible! Plus it’s nice and light… and healthy. Try using Light Italian Dressing. It tastes just the same in this recipe.

    Here’s what you do:

Get boneless chicken breasts (defrosted) and cut them into nugget shapes.

Pour them into a huge bowl, and COVER the chicken with Italian Dressing (not creamy, just regular). I use Kraft.

Let it marinade for about 4 hours in the fridge (overnight is best, but it sounds like you’re cooking tonight. 4 hours will work fine, but the longer the better).

Get a large skillet, and spray it with cooking spray. Pour the entire bowl into the skillet (chicken and dressing) and cook it until the chicken is no longer pink.

So simple, but DELICIOUS. It’s a winner at my place. If you’re up to it, serve it with fresh pasta. If not, a nice salad works just fine! Goes splendid with a nice white wine.

Baked chicken – Simple, tasty and healthy :)

2-4 chicken breasts (but much you thin you’ll eat)
1 c. plain yogurt (low stout)
    2 c. crushed Ritz crackers
    3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. garlic salt (can omit if you don’t like)
    1 tsp. seasoning salt
    4 tbsp. melted butter

Skin chicken and dry. Spread each cut of chicken with yogurt, then dip into mixture of cracker crumbs, cheese and seasoning. Arrange in buttered baking dish, drizzle butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 summary or until tender.

DON’T WORRY, you will not taste the yogart… it’s just a healthier way to make the breading stab :) You could use a beaten egg with a small milk if you’re worried about the yogart.

Goes excellent with any side dish: Suggestions: Rice (one cup per 2 cups of water, cover and simmer for 20 summary, can throw in a can of mixed veggies for more flavor), brocolli or even Uncle Bens has splendid sides (simple directions on package)

Hope that helps! Have fun :)

BAKED CHICKEN BREASTS OR PORK CHOPS

Marinate chicken breasts or pork chops in Italian dressing for about 1 hour then roll in Italian style bread crumbs that have Parmesan and Romano cheeses mixed in – bake at 375 degrees F for 45 summary to 1 hour depending upon how thick/huge they are. Serve with smashed potatoes, green beans and maybe some gravy. It is simple, quick and very juicy.

    CHERRY GLAZED CHICKEN BREASTS:

    1 can cherry pie filling
    4 boneless chicken breasts

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Place the chicken breasts in a glass baking pan that has been sprayed with a non-stab cooking spray like Pam. Spoon just enough of the cherry pie filling over the chicken to cover lightly. Place pan into oven and cook for 1 hour and 15 summary spreading more of the pie filling over the chicken every 15 summary.

This is very simple and you get a nice moist chicken breast. This also works well for Cornish game hens and pork chops.

Serve with a rice pilaf, white rice, mashed potatoes or roasted potatoes and a steamed veggie like whole green beans, baby carrots, broccoli or corn.

One of the best things to prepare is fish. It cooks quick and is very healthy. Wrap a fillet of your favorite fish in some foil with salt, pepper, butter(the same amount you would place on a cut of toast, not much), white wine, and a veggie of your choice (snow peas are splendid). Wrap it air tight and bake in the oven at 350 for about 40 summary or until the fish is flaky. For added flavor and lemon zest, and an herb of your choice(dill is excellent for this, only a pinch). Serve with a side of rice and she will like it.

Spaghetti and meatballs is an simple/quick thing to cook. This is the way I do it. 1 lb. of hamburger, mix together 1 egg, Italian bread crumbs 1 cup, salt (a couple of shakes), pepper (a couple of shakes), chopped onion 1/8 of onion or less (chop in very small pieces) make into small balls (1inch dia.) place in boiling water for about 10/15 min. Start water boiling for spaghetti. After they are cooked, place meatballs in sauce (jar sauce is excellent) simmer on low until spaghetti is finished. Salad, bread and wine to end off the dinner. Meatballs are better the next day, so you can make ahead (not speghetti) if you want to knock her socks off.
