Huge time.
yes nothing like a excellent turkey dinner a all of the trimings ade family and friends to get together and delight in a splendid day in our lives.maybe you should invite some friends over a try it you may just get to like it.
and don’t forget lots of pumpkin pie with lots of whipped cream
Is there nothing you are thankful for?
That’s what Prayer is really all about – taking time to be thankful for all we have.
My dad used to say that everyday should be a prayer day, because everyday we have so many things to be thankful for.
Canadians celebrate Prayer in October.
Prayer is just a family dinner, so it sounds like you do celebrate it unless you eat stuffed duck everyday.
It’s only a holiday in the u.s. and canada. Where do you live?
Yes, I celebrate it.
i came from a different country when i was five but don’t remember much about celebrating prayer growing up we were poor and mom and dad had many kids to feed. as a adult we went to in laws for the holidays but we i went away i made all the holiday meals takes all day and night and just a while to eat it up what a trip and then the cleaning up and putting it away i like cooking and baking and decorating for all the holidays my favorite is christmas i like putting illumination everywhere but now i live with my elderly mother and not allowed to do all that i can’t wait to start it up again pleased holidays to all
yeah im not canadian or american and i only have 4 people counting me in my family but i still celebrate it with turkey and everything
Yes, with dinner at our house with our adult children and later in the day a movie with my family.
This year it will be just me and my son so I know what you mean. You may not have a typical Prayer but it still is one nonetheless. In time, your family will grow. If you want a larger group you all should consider inviting cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents. But, I know it is not always possible.
For me, Prayer is all about family. It is my favorite holiday and I like cooking for my family, even if it is just two or three people. Get in there and help your parents cook. You will learn a lot and make some splendid memories. The duck dish sounds tasty!
Canadians have their Prayer in late October. To my understanding, they don’t celebrate it the same way.
well its okay if you dont do a turkey and everything. its splendid that you cook a nice meal anyways it doesnt matter what it consists of.
americans celebrate prayer cuz when squanto helped the americans they had a huge dinner to celebrate. so the indians were invited by the americans to have a feast
and by they way i do celerate with a huge turkey meal :]
I celebrate Prayer, but I be with you, there’s only 3 people in my family too. Last year my parents didn’t celebrate it as usual because of just us 3. It was dull and ruined the point of the holiday. Prayer goes back to the Pilgrims and the Native Americans. It’s part of U.S. History. We give Thankfulness to everyone in our lives, family, friends, for the food, dinner, and to God. There’s a lot more to Prayer. Here’s some more info.
