    leave them there.

The eggs are not likely to hatch at this point. The mother usually sits on the eggs to keep them warm, and turns them with her feet to keep the chicks from sticking to the eggs. In view of the fact that this didn’t happen, they doubtless didn’t develop. You can try picking up an egg and shaking it gently. If it feels wobbly, then there is no chance that it will hatch.

Doubtless you should dispose of the entire clasp of eggs.

Just leave them lonely stay away for a time you may be running the mother duck away.

If you are 110 percent sure she has not come back for three weeks, throw them away, as they are dead and rotting.

The mother has been killed or she would have returned. The embryos are dead after three weeks.

I would open one or two out of curiosity. Either leave them there or dispose of them. Sad the mother was killed. Perhaps by a dog.

    It could be 4 things.

    1. The mother possibly was killed, by a water hawk.
    2. The mother force have known or sensed that they were not fertile.
    3. Males force of chased her off of the nest, and mated with her for a long time, and by the time that she got back, she knew they were dead.
    4. Could of also been a new mother, (Happens alot)

If you want to find out, crack (1) open. But im 10000% sure that the embryo is dead. Because a mother duck can leave her eggs for about, 10 summary. NO LONGER.
