Help! I found 7 duck eggs, and I have lot’s of questions!?
thеrе wаѕ a nest bу mу next door neighbors house аnd іt hаd cracked (SMASHED) eggs аll scattered everywhere wіth nο mommy duck nearly. Sο I took four eggs аnd kept thеm іn a box outside fοr thе night lіkе nearly 5, ѕο іt wаѕ аbουt 80 tο 75 degrees out.
Thеn thе next daylight I took thе last 3 bесаυѕе thе mom hаѕ nοt reterned (аnd still hasent). Thеn nearly 10 thіѕ daylight I рlасе thеm аll іn a fish tank wіth a lite, аnd thе temp. іn thе fish tank іѕ аbουt 98 degrees. aptly now..
Arе thеу alive?

ok, -plz plz plz- do not crack one open-it force kill it ok? get something warm like blankets.place the blankets in the shape of a nest then carefully place the eggs in between.well, usually if the egg hasn’t cracked and it isn’t black inside, then they are alive.
and well, if they didn’t hatch yet that means you’ll know how ancient they are when they hatch.hopefully this answer was helpful…excellent luck with them. 
They are most likely dead. You shouldn’t have even gone near the nest. the mother will not return if your sent is all over the eggs an ground nearly the net.
If they are alive you need to roll them twice a day. water fowl need a high humidity to hatch, and the temperature needs to be modified for ducks. chickens and ducks hatch at different temperatures.
If they are alive, they should hatch shortly. depending on how long your spring is.
You shoulda left the eggs…any bird will return to its nest regardless of whatever scent is left on them contrary to well loved belief…
you could try taking them to a wildlife rehabber…
too see if they are fertile..hold them up to a candle or light and see if you can see any blood vessels forming at the broad side of the egg…
wE HAVE DUCKS IN OUR YARD DAILY AND NO MATTER HOW HOT OR WHAT’S GOING ON WHEN THEY HEAR THE BABIES OR THE EGGS HATCHING THEY WILL FLY FAST TO THE NEST WITH DADDY DUCK AND LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER I HOPE.many PEOPLE ALWAYS TAKE EGES WHEN THEY SEE THEM IN A NEST’ AND THINK SHE LEFT THEM’ BUT EVEN IF SHE IS HURT’ OR FAR AWAY SHE WILL BE THERE FOR THEM.they ONLY LEAVE FOR NOT EVEN AN HOUR TILL THEY FLY FAST BACK TO THE NEST.dO LIKE THAT LADY SAID AND DO A FLASHLIGHT OR CANDLE AND YOU’LL SEE THE BLOOD AND IF NOT THEY MUST BE DECEASED.
