i reckon you would have better lucky putting a diaper on it. i reckon maybe you should built a pen outside and play with it out there.
i reckon it would be extremlly hard and alot of accidents, i reckon you force be able to do it tho.
yes i had a pekin duck that was house trained. you buy puppy training pads and place te ducks food on it because ducks tend to go potty while eating. and while it is eating it will go on the pad. also everytime it acts like its gotta go place it on the pad and hold it there until it goes and when it does pet it and give it a treat ie: a peiceof a cookie. its hard to do though it took me nearly a year to get it to where it would do it w/o me watching it
I have reared ducks for many being ,not just an outdoor enclosure they are reared free range, being closed for the nights only, even though this is so ,the sanitary maintenance of this night enclosure is very hard work .
Frankly the first i have read of a successful outcome of house training a ducks is among the answers you have got to your question. But i wonder if you are prepared to go through such a rigorous routine of training for a year or there abouts. Exhausting i would reckon not only for the trainer but the pet as well.To delight in your pet in real terms of the word i feel a less demanding schedule is needed so as already suggested why not a pen or outdoor coop.Delight in your pet ,every pet owner has a aptly to this treat .
They sell wonderful duck diapers but after noticing the amount of feces they produce I chose just building a pen for them aptly outside the back porch. I spent EVERY sunny day with them, hosed down their income space and provided them a clean kiddie pool. Also, during the day I would open the pen and with my supervision, allowed them to roam the back yard. OH I loved them so much!! Value all the work in the world. They didn’t but like being ushered into their large dog house for bed time. But I did provide them with a night light which made the transition much simpler on them.
To end this long tale, I would just like to say you are much better off building an inexpensive pen outside. Mine by no means tried to escape.
Excellent luck to you, I envy you. I miss my ducks.
im pretty sure not.
