Nice cartoon but they need to upload it in hd.

Ducktales had such an epic soundtrack that really gave the series way more deepness and maturity, and made it stand out from most other kids´ shows. Just listen to the “Scotland theme” at 5:02 and 5:37, they just don´t make music like this for cartoons anymore.

@thefidlerontheroof WTF is a werek? Do you mean wreck? If so, then, yes, they sure are wrecks in New Orleans.

Oh, I feel ya, yes indeed. The Dutch have been masters of maintenance the water at bay for centuries, and they have the most modern system of seawalls, dams, and dikes to be found in the world.

The people of Louisiana are the ones who should feel embarrassed. They could fixed this mess decades ago, but nooooo! And now they a tiny oil spill problem too.

Die plek is gevuld met idioten!

@beadbop HAHAHA! Excellent one!! I know what hidden mening you have in there, lol, you sneeky insane bi@tch! MMWAHAHA!!! And they are what’s called somthing wereks or some shit like that? Fuck, this is so embarrassing. you feel me though, aptly?!

  • beadbop says:

@radavis76 Are you saying that the Dutch are smarter than the people of New Orleans? I would have to agree with you wholeheartedly on that one!

  • radavis76 says:

@AtarahDerek That’s just it–we shoot ourselves in the feet, so 2 speak. The Dutch had a workable model for storm protection and we just absolutely missed it.

  • AtarahDerek says:

@radavis76 Yeah, it’s because of trying to hold back the mighty Mississippi that New Orleans is sinking. The meandering river feeds mud into the delta, but that feed was cut off when they built the levees. The whole city is a hurricane death trap. And yet for some reason, people were still surprised when Katrina and Rita hit. It was a perfect copy of all the scientific models, and people were still scratching their heads, saying, “I don’t get it; it worked like it was supposed to.”

There weren’t even any druids in the original tale. The hound was a hoax by the McDuck’s rival clan the Whiservilles.

  • jillrg23 says:

    The comic is much better.

Movie Shaggy: Do you have a further one of those (special flea powders)?

  • StoneTitan says:

A excellent episode, but i can’t say i like the ending

There’s some stuff that should by no means be converted into tourist attractions.

It remove what made it special.

Or at least it should only be open for public on occasions

Webby certainly is a lifesaver here–she nurses the shepherd’s terrified lamb back 2 health and then she makes friends with the hounds’ puppies. I’ve by no means heard of ‘glow-in-the-dark’ flea powder before, so I don’t reckon my pet dog Mandy would ‘glow in the dark.’

  • radavis76 says:

It’s called ‘compromise’–though I reckon the Druids certainly appreciate having shelter from the storm when it rains. Nevertheless, I’d B 2 frightened 2 build on something used 4 something like the Druids’ rituals–the same can B said 4 building on a Native American reservation and the like. Many of us Louisianians have already screwed ourselves over by building on our natural wetlands 2 the point where we don’t have the hurricane protection that we should have had at least 40 being ago.
