I raised Mallard ducks before but, never incubatored them. I have 12 eggs that came into my incubator at different times. So I know that you need to stop turning to egg on the 3th day before the 28th day gets here. How do I know which one with that be? Also, by candleing them that should tell me which is the one that is more developed then the others right? I should see the forming of the duck inside right? Then once they are hatch how long to I wait until I remove them out of the incubator into the box with light? Because I know that I will have some eggs in the incubator that will be in there and not hatching until later in time… PLease help me because my time is running out the ducklings will be here soon… It is very interesting to incubate and hatch the eggs very interesting. I enjoyed doing it.. Cotact me with answers please. Thanks Kayla

Hi I put in my rcom incuabator a wild mallard duck egg i bought on ebay (when they sold them) I put him in the incubator march 10th and i thought he should hatch by now. I seen movement just a week ago, but now i see is a large air sack and on the side of his egg(not the dark part which is him) it also has an air sack that takes up a little less then half the egg. I was wondering is he still alive? No piping or movement now and i can barely see him thou. Thanks kaila

2. I did not know this at the beginning so I was not keeping track of which way the egg was facing. Can this cause the developing duckling to die?
3. All of my duck eggs at day seven looked really good! When I candled them they all had really dominant looking blood veins, but now when I candled them at day 9 I can’t see the veins as good in one of them. Is this bad?
