State releases information on duck hunting

ok, I’ve been wanting a duck for a really long time and my mom said that i can probally get 1-2 this summer. I need to know ever thing about taking care of them (because i will be geting 2) when they are ducklings and when they are ducks. I want to get a male and female so they can mate, is that a bad ideay or not. how long do ducks live and what breed should i get. I posbally will show them. what websites and stores should I go to to get. Should i get the duckling in the mail or at a store and what stores can i go. where I can get just 2. add aany other information i need or should have.

i live out in the country with 60 ackers so i know i can have them. what shealters should i use and how do you builed one that is safe from all the animals that can harm ducks

I’m thinking about purchasing my daughter a small duck for easter, but I’m not sure if my county allows these types of animals inside city limits. Where might I be able to find this information.

I have a Cayuga Duck and he currently has a set up in my backyard in a large dog pen and I live in Michigan which it can get pretty cold out. I was wondering what is the lowest weather temperature they can stand in the cold? The colder weather is coming and i dont want himto freeze. He has a house with alot of hay to keep him warm in but if its really too cold i dont want to leave him out their so i want to find this out. The guy i bought the duck from was a michigan farmer and he said he raised the ducks in michigan and they always stayed outside in the winter and were fine and sometimes when it would get cold they would just put him in the hen house but he said they can survive the weather fine. But i dont want to find out the wrong way and find him dead one day when i go to check on him. Any kind of info on caring for that particular duck would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

im doing a project and i need information about the oregon ducks ,

I know “pregnant” isn’t the correct word to use, but I’ll use it anyway. a few weeks ago I caught my ducks mating, and now I’m curious to know..how long before the duck lays it’s eggs? And After that, how long before a baby hatches (if the duckies take care of it). I’m real excited to have babies, and..when they are hatched, am I allowed to touch them at first? Or will the mommy not want it anymore like other birds?
