Okay, so, I’m going to be getting some ducklings in about three weeks and I am starting to make housing plans.

I was wondering, can I house two ducks and two chickens in the the same pen? Why or why not?

Also, if I get two ducks and raise them from hatchlings, will they still be tame and friendly to me, or will they only like eachother?

How much room do 2 ducks and 2 chickens ( together, if possible) need for housing? ~ How many square feet? (is 11′ by 15′ good enough?)

Is hog fencing a good fencing to use for the pen? ( will it be raccoon proof that way?

How many eggs do two average/normal hens lay a day? ~ If they are healthy.

Since its winter… and this is the only female duck and the other 4 ducks are trying to mate with her. Should I bring her in when it gets closer to when the eggs hatch?

P.S. You might have seen my other questions about ducks and ducks eggs, and i started with 6 one died hatched 2 and looking forward to gettting these 4 eggs.

ok well we have 13 chickens diff breeds and wat not and one rooster and ive though maybe ducks would be a cool addition? we have an incubator and r thinking about hatching some ducks. now i have a place for thn to swim and stuff(i have a pond thing but can they swim in a pool? or would the cemicals hurt thm? curious) and our chicken coup althou kind of small now with the chickens has alot of bottom space(its heated in winter too) and i thought i could make somthing on the bottom tht the ducks could go under to keep the chickens from pooping on thm but my parents said i have to find out if ducks and chickens can live together? i think they can but they said we need mor info before we can get ducks and since i cant get on many websites on this computer i was wondering if ne one can help? ifn u have/had ducks or no about thm (especialy if uve had/have chickens at the same time or no how they interact) i would greatly appreciate the help! thnx

So, my first question is: will two call ducks be as friendly and tame as normal sized ducks like pekins and cayugas?~ (if raised from ducklings)

Do you think call duck noise level would be too high in a suburban neighborhood?

Can I keep 2 call ducks as house ducks if they wear diapers? ( please no mean feedback!~people do diaper their ducks you know!)
